Synaxi trail is essentially the continuation of the Marmaritsa trail. After passing the Ancient theater and the Marmaritsa beach, continuing through the ancient olive grove, you reach the coastal Archeological site of Synaxi. On your way to this trail you have the opportunity to explore other trails of geological interest marked by the Institute of Geology & Mineral Exploration, www.igme.gr (Important features are the volcanic rocks, connected to the mill stone quarries. One of the most impressive phenomena is the monzodiorite spheroidal weathering, producing amazing megalithic forms).

Odysseio Reithro - is a valley that starts at Mount Ismaros and ends at Synaxi beach. According to legend, Odysseus disembarked at Synaxi beach and headed towards the Maroneia, through this valley.
