2. Petrota Geological structures
Geological structures are known as “Poseidon's coastguards”, since they guard the Thracian Sea. They are approximately 3.00 m high and they were created by the erosion of a volcano-conglomerate, a rock forme by adhered volcanic pebbles.

Synaxis - Coastal Archeological Site. Visitors can admire the archaeological site, where a Byzantine basilica with frescoes is built on the ruins of an ancient temple.
